Trump's administration highly values Ilham Aliyev's strategic vision, expert says

Trump's administration has fully grasped the dynamic statecraft and vision of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for a more prosperous and productive US - Azerbaijan partnership, US political scientist and expert in international relations Peter Tase told Report.

The expert said that Ilham Aliyev is the most loyal ally of the United States and it was clearly manifested during the Azerbaijani leader's speech at the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, when he said Baku supports the vision and efforts of President Trump aimed at strengthening peace and stability globally, including in the South Caucasus.

"The third Shusha Global Media Forum is one of the world’s most prestigious international events that tackle the pressing issues related to information media, disinformation, appropriately handling propaganda and information warfare. Shusha is a historic city of Azerbaijan, the cradle of Azerbaijani culture and has emerged - after the Second Karabakh War - as a pivotal center of the study of International Affairs and a unique cultural heritage cradle for Eurasia," the expert said.

He noted that President Donald Trump's posting of Ilham Aliyev's statement made in Shusha "is a major accomplishment and it is admirable to see the similarities in leadership style and vision that both presidents have."

"With President Trump at the White House, the Republic of Azerbaijan will achieve many geopolitical aspirations that were terribly neglected and miserably ignored by Barack Hussein Obama and Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, the two US Presidents that have significantly tarnished the image of the United States of America in the world stage," Tase said.
