Talgat Kaliyev: Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan should deepen cultural, educational ties

Cooperation in the field of education, the study of pedagogical practices would be useful for both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Director of the Kazakhstan Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research Talgat Kaliyev said at a round table meeting on bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, Report informs.

He noted that it is necessary to arrange guest lectures and exchange of experts at various universities of the two countries.

Kaliyev also touched upon the issues of cooperation in the field of tourism development: “This process should be stimulated, maybe tourists should be offered special air fares, packages with new offers for various amounts and any cultural demand.”

Commenting on cooperation in the field of culture, the expert stressed that the two countries are linked by deep historical roots.

“Days of Culture could be expanded to mutual tours of creative teams. Our theater staff could travel to Azerbaijan and vice versa. We should also consider creating joint film projects, in particular documentaries,” Kaliyev said.
