Speaker of Kyrgyz Parliament: TURKPA successfully implements set goals

“We are successfully implementing our goals within the framework of TURKPA's activity,” Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Shakiev said at the 13th meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) in Baku, Report informs.

"We need to expand the activity of TURKPA to ensure peace and security in the region. COP29, which will be hosted by Azerbaijan in November 2024, will be a remarkable event. Holding such an event in Azerbaijan is also a great event for the Turkic world. I believe that this event will be held at a high level. I draw attention to the solidarity of the brotherly Kyrgyz Republic in this matter," he said.

Shakiyev stressed the importance of developing cooperation in solving regional and global problems.
