Smear campaign against Azerbaijan continues – Presidential Aide

"Unfortunately, smear and false news campaigns against our countries continue today," Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, told the 4th Meeting of the Ministers and High Officials in charge of Media and Information of the Organization of Turkic States in Istanbul, Turkiye, Report informs.

He noted that Azerbaijan has been under these attacks since the early years of independence.

“Especially in the 44-day Second Karabakh War, we faced all the elements of a psychological war,” Hajiyev said. “As a result of the joint work of the Azerbaijani and Turkish media, we have brought justice to the world.”
