Slovenian deputy PM visits Martyrs' Alley and Mehdi Huseynzada's monument

Deputy Prime Minister of Slovenia, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, has visited the Alley of Martyrs and the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union Mehdi Huseynzada in Baku, Report informs.

Tanja Fajon first honored the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who gave their lives in the struggle for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.

Then the guest honored the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Mehdi Huseynzada, who showed heroism in the fight against fascism during the Second World War, and laid flowers at his monument.
