Shein: Azerbaijan - very tolerant country

Azerbaijan is a tolerant country that has provided an opportunity to study in any language, former Russian MP Oleg Shein said during the round table meeting “Russia and Azerbaijan - friendship, cooperation and respect” taking place in Moscow, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

“It is important for us that the Russian language is valued in Azerbaijan: there are many educational programs in Russian,” Shein said.

He noted that cooperation in the field of economy and trade is also being strengthened between the two countries.

“Economic ties, trade agreements are being strengthened, including at the regional level. Trade turnover has increased significantly. The topic of tourism also holds an important place today,” he added.
