Secretary General: Model laws - one of powerful tools of TurkPA co-op

The preparation of model laws is one of the powerful cooperation tools used by the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking States (TurkPA), TurkPA Secretary General Mehmet Sureyya Er said at the conference "15th anniversary of TurkPA: Experience of the past, today's realities and prospects," Report informs.

The Secretary-General noted that the harmonization of legislation and the formation of a single legal space is the main element of a successful integration process:

“Our activities in the field of model legislation are aimed at these goals. It is relatively new, but we have already established mutually beneficial relations with authoritative regional and international organizations, and we are interested in the constant development of these relations.”
