Sec-Gen: NATO backs normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia

NATO supports efforts to normalize relations and build a dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said this at a press conference following a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Brussels, Report informs.
"First, we welcome the fact that it was possible to end the hostilities. It is necessary to continue normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, we support efforts aimed at normalizing and dialogue between the countries," the NATO Secretary-General said.
NATO does not take sides, and considers both Azerbaijan and Armenia as their valuable partners, he said.
