"We can resolve humanitarian issues and even restore mutual trust through talks," the head of the Azerbaijani delegation in PACE, Samad Seyidov, said during the summer session.
Report's local bureau quotes him as saying there are 30,000 Armenians in Baku today.
"They are the citizens of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijanis who lived in Armenia were subjected to ethnic cleansing. I invited my Armenian colleagues to dialogue. The only way out of this difficult situation is bilateral talks - one of the Council of Europe's values. We can sit at the table and resolve humanitarian issues and even the issues of restoring mutual trust," Seyidov said.
