Sadyr Japarov to attend ECO summit in Azerbaijan

On July 3, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov will make a two-day working visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 17th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), which will be held in Khankandi, said the head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration, Sagynbek Abdumutalip, Report informs via Kyrgyz media.
The topic of the summit is "New ECO Vision for a Sustainable and Climate Resilient Future."
"The parties will discuss current issues on the organization's agenda, including measures taken by member states to prevent climate change," Abdumutalip noted.
During Japarov's visit, the official opening of the Aikol Manas school in the Aghdam district, built by the Kyrgyz side, will also take place.
