Russian expert: Pashinyan's tactic is to drag out time as much as possible

The tactic of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is to drag out time as much as possible and be good for NATO to try to rearm its army with the help of France, Associate Professor at the Department of International Security of the Faculty of World Politics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, political scientist Alexei Fenenko told Report's Russian Bureau.

The political scientist said that America and France use Armenia for their own purposes.

"Now the United States and France are interested in opening a second front for Russia, and their task is to get Russia involved in a new armed conflict in the Caucasus. Therefore, they use their ties with Yerevan to encourage Pashinyan for a new adventure. But you need to earn the right to be good for North Atlantic Alliance, then in the future, maybe they will help him with revenge for the fall of 2020 - this is what the Americans are now pressing on," Fenenko concluded.
