Rhoda Rebecca Arrindell: Ilham Aliyev’s statement at COP29 shook ground in St. Martin

Rhoda Rebecca Arrindell, PhD, President of One St. Martin Association, and president of the Caribbean Studies Association (CSA), thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for his statement at COP29, Report informs.
Arrindell said Ilham Aliyev’s statement “shook the ground in St. Martin.”
“We thank your president at COP 29 for that statement, because it shook the ground in St. Martin. I didn't know, I was not there. I was here, but when we got back, we heard that the president of Azerbaijan created an earthquake in St. Martin. And we are grateful for that, and we are seeing some of the consequences of that, and we expect there to be bigger shocks,” Arrindell told Azerbaijani reporters.
