Ramil Usubov: Shusha Declaration - guarantee of regional & global security

“The Shusha Declaration is a roadmap for joint actions in ensuring regional and global security and constantly requires new approaches. The measures taken in this direction, the goals set are constantly being improved in accordance with the growth of the statehood power of Azerbaijan and Turkiye,” Secretary of Azerbaijan’s Security Council Colonel-General Ramil Usubov said in an interview with the official press, Report informs.

“Now Turkiye contributes to global security in a vast geographical area from Syria to Libya, from the Mediterranean to the World Ocean, conducts a peacekeeping mission in these hot regions with its military-political presence. Azerbaijan is also effectively fighting global terrorism and transnational crime, which are the main threats to international security, peacefully operates with its military contingent in various conflict zones, that is, both countries have exceptional merits in ensuring global security.

I would just like to point out one fact. In all three letters addressed to the country's president over the past three months, Joe Biden emphasized the decisive role of Azerbaijan in stabilizing security in the world, especially in Europe. Such views are constantly expressed at the highest international level. Undoubtedly, this is the result of the implementation of the security concept of President Ilham Aliyev with great foresight and wisdom,” said Ramil Usubov.
