Prosecutor: Türkiye attaches great importance to knowledge, experience exchange with Azerbaijan

Türkiye attaches great importance to the exchange of knowledge and experience with Azerbaijan's judicial institutions, Ahmet Gokay Aktas, Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation of Türkiye, Report informs.

Speaking at an international conference in Lachin titled "National Leader Heydar Aliyev is the author of the Constitution of independent Azerbaijan," Aktas noted that principles such as the rule of law, guarantee of fundamental rights and freedoms, and separation of powers form the basis of modern constitutions:

"The 30th anniversary of the Constitution is a meaningful and proud event not only for Azerbaijan but also for us as friendly and brotherly countries.

As the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Türkiye, we attach great importance to the exchange of knowledge and experience with the judicial institutions of friendly countries, especially Azerbaijan. Our common legal culture, similar constitutional approaches, and mutual trust create the foundation for strengthening this cooperation further."
