President Ilham Aliyev visits national monument in Islamabad

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad on July 11, Report informs via AZERTAC.
A guard of honor was lined up for President Ilham Aliyev at the square, decorated with the national flags of Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the monument.
Then Surah “Al-Fatihah” was recited.
The construction of the Pakistan Monument, which is an epitome of the unity of the Pakistani people, started in 2004. The monument, built in the rich Mughal architectural style, was inaugurated on March 23, 2007.
