President Ilham Aliyev congratulates his Cuban counterpart

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúde, the President of the Republic of Cuba.

Report informs via AZERTAC that the letter reads:

"Dear Mr. President,

On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to your entire nation on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Cuba – Liberation Day.

The friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba are rooted in strong traditions. I believe that by leveraging the existing opportunities and through our joint efforts, we can further develop our intergovernmental ties and expand our fruitful cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Taking this pleasant opportunity, I also sincerely congratulate you on the upcoming New Year, 2025, wishing you robust health, success in your endeavors, and everlasting peace and prosperity for the friendly people of Cuba."
