Erdogan shares impressions of meeting with Ilham Aliyev: 'We only want peace in our region'

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has shared his impressions of the meeting with Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

"I was very pleased to host my brother, the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, in Türkiye. We are making great progress in every field in our brotherly relations embodied in the motto of 'one nation, two states.' The relations between our countries are constantly developing in a wide range of areas, from defense to trade. Undoubtedly, the energy sector, which we have crowned with many projects, is at the forefront among these collaborations. I would like to express this: Türkiye and Azerbaijan are on the side of peace, tranquility and prosperity. We only want peace in our region, we want cooperation, we want to develop together. From now on, God willing, we are determined to implement together all kinds of projects aimed at regional peace, prosperity and tranquility," Erdogan wrote on X.
