Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, made a phone call to his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, Report informs via AZERTAC.
The Polish Minister offered his condolences regarding the tragic crash of the "Azerbaijan Airlines" passenger plane. Minister Radosław Sikorski said that Poland is ready to provide the necessary technical support towards investigation of the causes of the tragic incident.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude for the condolences and the solidarity shown.
The sides had a broad exchange of views on priority issues during Poland's six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU), Azerbaijan-EU relations, as well as prospects of the Eastern Partnership.
Noting that there are great prospects for developing relations between Azerbaijan and Poland in political, economic, alternative energy, humanitarian and other spheres, the ministers highlighted the importance of reciprocal visits and intensification of political dialogue in the development of relations between the two countries.
Over the telephone, the two also conversed on regional and international security.
