Peru's leading TV channel broadcasts report about Armenia's aggression

The program aired on Latina TV, one of Peru's leading news channels, discussed the results of Armenia's aggressive policy, the restoration of historical justice after the liberation of Azerbaijani territories, and the creation of new realities in the region, Report informs.

In the program, the TV channel's correspondent sent to Azerbaiajn filmed videos in the territories liberated from occupation, and it was emphasized that the Armenian terrorism and vandalism seen by the Peruvian journalist in Aghdam, Ganja, and other cities is terrifying.

The report also pointed out that Karabakh is no longer a topic of discussion and that Azerbaijan has created new realities in the region by ending the Armenian occupation. It was noted that Armenia has recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and the signing of the long-awaited final peace treaty between the two countries will serve to ensure security and stability, development, and progress in the region.

An interview with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Peru Mammad Talibov on the issue was also reflected in the report. The ambassador gave detailed information about the recent events in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan and the peace agenda of his country stressing that one of the main tasks facing the Azerbaijani government is to ensure the safe and decent return of hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis who were displaced from their lands due to ethnic cleansing. It was emphasized that despite the consequences of the ongoing mine terrorism in Armenia, rapid and large-scale reconstruction works were carried out in the liberated territories.

The diplomat also touched on the importance of the reintegration of the Armenian population of Karabakh into the socio-economic and socio-political life of Azerbaijan within the framework of the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan and noted that necessary measures have been taken for this purpose. It was especially emphasized that during the visit of the UN mission to Karabakh, no cases of violence against the local Armenian residents and no damage to the civil public infrastructure were recorded.

Speaking about the process of normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, Ambassador Talibov noted the importance of signing the final peace treaty between the two countries, delimiting and demarcating the borders, as well as opening regional transport and communication links.
