Paolo von Chirac: Azerbaijan is young, developing country with bright future

Azerbaijan is a young and developing country with a bright future, Paolo von Schirach, President of the US Institute for Global Policy, who participated in the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, said in an interview with Baku TV, Report informs.

According to Schirach, intensive work is underway in Azerbaijan and the country is very hospitable:

“Although the problem with Armenia has not been resolved, it is coming to an end. We are currently in Karabakh, which was under occupation for more than 20 years. These are already in the past, and now people are looking to the future. With the return of former IDPs, the region is being reborn.”

Paolo von Schirach added that the participation of more than 50 countries' officials in the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum shows that the Azerbaijani authorities have the ability to create platforms for global discussions.
