PACE summer session begins in Strasbourg

The regular summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has started its work in Strasbourg, Report informs.

As part of the session, it is planned to hold a joint debate on Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, migration issues, reforming human rights legislation in the UK.

A debate on the current situation on the Lachin road is also expected within the session.

The Azerbaijani delegation also takes part in the session. Azerbaijani MPs - Head of the Delegation to PACE, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Ties Samad Seyidov, members of the delegation Rafael Huseynov, Kamal Jafarov, Erkin Gadirli, Konul Nurullayeva, Parvin Karimzade, Nigar Arpadarai arrived to Strasbourg on June 18 to participate in the summer session of the organization.

The Assembly session will end on June 23.
