Non-resident ambassador of Somalia visits Baku

Somalia's non-resident Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fathudin Ali Mohamed, who is based in Ankara, has made a visit to Baku, Report informs.

He noted that the purpose of the visit is to discuss cooperation between Somalia and Azerbaijan in the fields of education and energy. The diplomat emphasized that Somalia attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan in the energy sector.

"Oil deposits were recently discovered in Somalia. I think cooperation in this field will also be beneficial for our countries," he added.
