Neil Walsh: Important to consider wide range of issues related to corruption prevention at GlobE Network in Baku

The GlobE Network meeting in Baku needs to address a wide range of issues related to corruption prevention, Neil Walsh, executive secretary of the GlobE Network and Head of the UNODC Department of Law Enforcement and Strategic Networks, said in a video address to the participants of the 6th plenary session of the GlobE Network in Baku, Report informs.

Walsh expressed regret that he was unable to personally participate in the discussions and expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the GlobE Network events organized in Baku.

"It is important to focus on measures to enhance the effectiveness of corruption investigations - from evidence collection to the use of intelligence information. All this is necessary in order to truly counter those who seek to undermine our efforts," he noted.
