MP: Some forces begin creating hybrid threats against Azerbaijan on orders from Armenian lobby

Azerbaijan has fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, MP Ramid Namazov, Chairman of the Temporary Commission against Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats at Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament), said, according to Report.

Speaking during the public discussion on "Hybrid attack called 'peace mission' on stability in the South Caucasus" held in the Milli Majlis, Namazov noted that the President pursues an independent foreign policy in accordance with national interests: "This has not aligned with the interests of certain circles in the West. For this reason, these circles, hiding behind the European Union and its various state institutions, have begun creating threats, including hybrid threats, against Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty on orders from the Armenian lobby."

The MP noted that the hybrid activities against Azerbaijan by some forces in the West began to manifest themselves more clearly after the local anti-terrorist measures carried out in September 2023.
