Armenia is gaining a reputation as a state where systematic Islamophobia is becoming increasingly widespread, according to Azerbaijani MP Gaya Mammadov, according to Report.
Speaking on the second day of the international conference themed “Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas” in Baku, the MP noted that over the past three decades, there has been an increase in xenophobia against Muslims, and although the term "Islamophobia" received its official definition relatively recently, it existed long before that.
