Morocco's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Adil Embarch, has revealed that several high-level visits from Morocco to Azerbaijan are planned for the near future.
Speaking to Report, the ambassador noted: "Currently, parliamentary members of both countries are making reciprocal visits. Several important high-level visits are planned in the near future. One of them will take place in May."
The diplomat also highlighted the history of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the current development trend: "Relations between Morocco and Azerbaijan have a fairly long history. We have been celebrating these relations for more than 30 years now. Political relations are at a good level. Morocco and Azerbaijan support each other on issues of territorial integrity and sovereignty."
“A joint commission meeting on bilateral cooperation was successfully held in Morocco in November 2023. A large business delegation from Azerbaijan also visited Morocco.
