Minister: Exchange of experience with Russia played significant role in work of Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Ministry

Russia's assistance in training personnel and supplying special equipment played a significant role in establishing the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov said at a meeting with the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief in Baku, Report informs.

According to Heydarov, the existing legal framework between the ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia in this area has laid a strong foundation for cooperation.

“It is gratifying to note that today another document on cooperation will be signed between us,” added Heydarov.

The minister noted that the relationship between the two countries is based on the principle of mutual respect.
