Miller: US ready to facilitate Azerbaijan-Armenia talks

It is important that Armenia and Azerbaijan discuss and solve problems directly for the benefit of the region, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said at a daily briefing, the US bureau of Report informs.

The US believes it is important for both countries to negotiate directly to reach a lasting agreement, he noted.

As before, the US is ready to facilitate these negotiations, and welcomes such efforts from other countries, he added.
