MFA: There are no restrictions on Lachin road, and claims of 'humanitarian disaster' are baseless

The protesters impose no obstacles on the movement of vehicles and residents on the Lachin-Khankandi road passing through Shusha, and the claims that the protests have caused a "humanitarian disaster" in the region are baseless, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said, regarding the recent statement of the UN Population Fund, Report informs.

It was noted that since the beginning of the protests, residents had been provided with daily supplies, medical supplies, and necessary medical services by 1000 vehicles using the road: "The Azerbaijani government has also repeatedly expressed its readiness to meet all humanitarian needs that Armenian residents may face. However, the people who present themselves as 'leaders' of the Armenian residents continue to use the local population as a shield and prevent their freedom of movement in order to continue their illegal activities."
