Mexican envoy: Azerbaijani people incredibly welcoming and generous

The Azerbaijani people are incredibly welcoming and generous, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexico to Azerbaijan, Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, said in an interview with Report.

“I was pleasantly surprised to see such kindness. I get the feeling that I am at home here, I feel that way. You don’t feel like this everywhere. In this sense, Azerbaijan has become a special country for me. I have not yet had the opportunity to travel to the regions, but I plan to do so in the coming months,” she noted.

“The culture of Azerbaijan is fascinating. I myself belong to a culture that also has a rich heritage, and I see the same in Baku. Here history coexists with modernity. Baku is a cosmopolitan city.”
