Mayuma Kala: Conference in Baku touched upon topics important for African countries

The conference taking place in Baku made it possible to raise important topics for African countries, Special Representative and Head of the AU Liaison Office in Côte d'Ivoire, Josephine-Charlotte Mayuma Kala, said at the international conference on empowering women in Baku, Report informs.
“The conference in Baku raised very deep problems for African countries. We are actively involved in conflict resolution, considering this topic important. The issue of gender equality also has support within the African Union, which has adopted various conventions and documents aimed at supporting women’s rights,” she noted.
