Adil Aslanov, Head of Methodology and Evaluation Department of ANAMA, said that Armenians used phased mine laying in Karabakh, Report informs.
"So, wherever we carry out the cleaning operation, especially in the zones through which the Victory Road and other communication lines pass, such cases are more common. The main reason for the slow progress in demining the liberated territories is the fact that the buried mines consist of several stages. Such cases pose a serious threat to people's lives," he added.
Despite the difficulty of the problem, Aslanov stressed that they are working more seriously and vigilantly towards the complete cleaning of the territories.
