Lavrov: ‘Heydar Aliyev is a person who united our countries’

“Heydar Aliyev is a person who truly united our countries,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the talks with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Moscow, Report informs.

Lavrov noted that from May 15, events on the occasion of the centennial anniversary of the birth of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev started in the capital of the Russian Federation.

The foreign minister thanked the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow for organizing these events.
