Landsbergis says political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Lithuania has intensified

The seventh meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will confirm the clear interest of Azerbaijan and Lithuania in expanding bilateral ties, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said at a briefing following a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Vilnius.
According to Report, the minister noted that the parties positively assessed the current level of cooperation between the countries. In particular, the political dialogue between the countries has intensified significantly over the past few years.
"We look forward to President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Lithuania later this month," Landsbergis said.
