Kremlin: We hope the difficult period in Russia-Azerbaijan relations will pass

Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are currently going through a difficult period, but Moscow hopes it will soon come to an end, Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary to the President of Russia, said, Report informs via Interfax.
“There is indeed a solid foundation (for the relationship). There is a convergence of interests between the two countries, and mutually beneficial cooperation based on mutual respect. However, from time to time, difficult periods occur in bilateral relations. We are currently experiencing one of those periods. We hope it will pass,” Peskov told journalists.
