Russia has always supported Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, Russian military expert, editor-in-chief of the Natsionalnaya Oborona magazine Igor Korotchenko said during a round table meeting at the Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku, Report informs.
“We are not just allies, we are self-sufficient countries,” the Russian expert said.
He noted that despite all attempts to make Russia involved into the course of the Second Karabakh War, the Russian Federation played its role at the end of the war when signing a trilateral statement of November 10, 2020.
“No third country can intervene and spoil relations between Azerbaijan and Russia,” Korotchenko said.
