Azerbaijan is a strategically important country in the South Caucasus region, effectively using its natural resources for sustainable and dynamic development, reads an article by Director of the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan, Dr. Hasan AlMomani, dedicated to the results of the international forum on the topic "Facing the New World Order" in Baku, Report informs.
AlMomani reminded that the international forum was organized by ADA University and brought together more than 90 scientists, experts and representatives of think tanks.
The author expressed admiration for both the format and the agenda of the forum, where the most important and large-scale global issues were discussed.
"Particular attention was drawn to the interest that participants showed in Jordan and its King Abdullah II. I am confident that the King's astute policy of establishing and strengthening relations with the countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus, especially with Azerbaijan, became the cornerstone of a successful partnership," the author said.
Strong bilateral ties were built and developed by King Abdullah II and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, subsequently becoming an example to follow, he noted.
He also noted with satisfaction that within the framework of the forum he spoke at a session dedicated to the role of countries in regional security and development.
He added that he got the opportunity to talk about how Jordan was able to take an important position in one of the most difficult regions, while having limited natural resources.
On April 9, an international forum on the topic "Facing the New World Order" was held at ADA University with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
