"Azerbaijan has always expressed its intention to take steps towards normalization. We have repeatedly offered Armenia to conduct negotiations on a bilateral basis," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Baku on December 14, Report informs.
According to him, Türkiye is one of the most important countries in the region: "Türkiye is also a neighbor of Armenia. If Azerbaijan is at the table, Türkiye is there too. The presence of Türkiye at the negotiating table is also beneficial for Armenia itself."
