Talks between Bayramov and Bochorishvili underway in Tbilisi

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, is currently on an official visit to Georgia.

According to Report's Georgian bureau, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister is holding talks with Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili.

Bayramov is also scheduled to meet with Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.

The minister will lay a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the heroes who died for the unity of Georgia and will visit the monument to Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi.

Ahead of this visit, another round of political consultations between the foreign ministries took place in Tbilisi at the deputy minister level.

On July 22, the Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov left for an official visit to Georgia, Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov is scheduled to hold meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, as well as other high-level officials.
