Jeyhun Bayramov discusses situation in South Caucasus with UN official in Nairobi

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Zainab Bangura, Director-General of the United Nations (UN) Office in Nairobi, as part of his official visit to Kenya, Report informs, citing the MFA.

The importance of the African continent in Azerbaijan's foreign policy and the important role of cooperation with the UN, especially through its Nairobi office, were noted in this context.

The Azerbaijani foreign minister also provided information on the post-conflict regional situation, as well as Azerbaijan's reconstruction, demining and peace initiatives in the region.
