Jeyhun Bayramov congratulates Türkiye on appointment of Feridun Sinirlioglu as OSCE secretary general

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on the appointment of Feridun Sinirlioglu as OSCE Secretary General during the 31st meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s MFA.

According to the information, during the telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, the sides exchanged views on the talks and discussions held within the framework of the 31st meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Malta:

"Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated the Turkish side on the appointment of experienced Turkish diplomat Feridun Sinirlioglu to the high position of OSCE Secretary General during the 31st meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, noting that this great achievement was received with great joy by our side. Best wishes were extended to OSCE Secretary General F. Sinirlioglu in his responsible activities."
