Jeyhun Bayramov briefs UAE counterpart about post-conflict situation in South Caucasus

Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, held a meeting with UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry said on X.

According to Report, the ministers discussed both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, with a particular focus on the economy, trade, energy, as well as regional and global developments.

The great willingness for further development of mutually beneficial areas of cooperation was emphasised.

Ministers had a broad exchange of views on the wider regional situation.

Minister Bayramov also briefed his counterpart on the post-conflict situation in the region, ongoing reconstruction, demining efforts, and the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, as well as remaining challenges, such as the territorial claim in the Constitution of Armenia.
