Jeyhun Bayramov briefs his Portuguese counterpart about Azerbaijan's peace initiatives

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel within the framework of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry posted on X, Report informs.

“Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, had a meeting with Paulo Rangel, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Portugal on the sidelines of the high-level week of the UNGA 79 [the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly].

During the meeting, issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda, as well as prospects of cooperation in the fields of economy, investments, energy security, renewables, transport and communication fields were reviewed.

Foreign Minister of Portugal has been informed about the post-conflict realities, reconstruction and peace initiatives of Azerbaijan in the region,” reads the post.
