“The exemplary cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, whose relations have reached the highest level of a strategic alliance with the signing of the historic Shusha Declaration, the participation of the two countries in large-scale initiatives in the region, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the ongoing reconstruction work, also promotes broad regional cooperation,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the 8th meeting of the Turkic Council Foreign Ministers,
“In this regard, in our opinion, the 3 + 3 format, which envisages post-conflict regional cooperation and is supported by all major powers in the region, can be a valuable mechanism for collaboration between the countries,” Bayramov said.
The minister stressed that Azerbaijan supports the provision of lasting peace and stability in its region and worldwide.
