Israeli ambassador-designate: Azerbaijan demonstrates high level of diplomacy

Azerbaijan is a unique country that has demonstrated a high level of diplomacy and humanity, appointed Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan Ronen Krausz said at a meeting with representatives of the Coordination Center of Mountain Jews and the Community of Mountain Jews of the city of Acre (Israel), Report informs via Stmegi.

"Azerbaijan is a country where every person feels free, happy and respected. Here I saw not only a high level of diplomacy, but also true humanism," the diplomat emphasized, expressing confidence that relations between the two states will continue to develop.

The main topic of discussion at the event was strengthening cooperation between Israel and Azerbaijan. The meeting participants also spoke about regional security. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan has always taken a fair and consistent position on the issue of a peaceful settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.

Those gathered expressed hope for the speedy signing of a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan and condemned Armenia's provocative actions in the region.

The meeting, which was held in a round table format, was also attended by political and public figures, including Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Israel Pavel Elizarov, Head of the Cultural Center of Caucasian Jews of Kiryat Yam Ben Sion Shmaelov, and others.
