“We must all unite to speak about the massacres committed by Armenians in Western Azerbaijan,” Arshad Salehi, Chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, told the 2nd International Conference on "Right to Return: Ensuring Justice for Azerbaijanis Forcibly Expelled from Armenia," Report informs.
According to Salehi, today's meeting is important not only for the Turkic world but for the entire world: "We are all children of one land. Our people and our land are targets. Why have these people become targets? The target is the Turkic world and Turkic land."
The Iraqi representative noted that all these are plans of greater powers.
"Is there international law?! I am the chairman of the law committee myself. I haven't seen the protection of rights yet. Why is everyone silent about the deportation of Western Azerbaijanis today? There is no justice in international law.
We must stand together to speak about the massacres committed by Armenians, especially in Western Azerbaijan. If our voice is weak, there will be no results. If Turkic states are not united as one hand, we won't be respected. We must all unite to speak more actively about the massacres and genocides."
