International Court of Justice rejects Armenia’s another petition

The International Court of Justice has rejected Armenia’s petition regarding the creation of the Lachin border checkpoint by Azerbaijan on the border with Armenia, Report informs referring to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.

On May 12, 2023, Armenia applied to the court with a petition regarding the so-called ‘illegality’ of the Lachin border checkpoint.

Last October, the International Court of Justice also rejected Armenia’s request to amend the court’s decision of December 7, 2021, indicating interim measures on the application of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
