India supports NAM's initiatives on combating pandemic

India supports the initiatives of the Non-Aligned Movement on fighting pandemic, Sridharan Madhusudhanan, Joint Secretary for the Ministry of External Affairs of India said at the plenary session within the framework of the Summit-level Meeting of Non-Aligned Movement held in Baku.
According to Report, he said the pandemic became the main challenge facing the world over the past years.
Most African countries including members of the Non-Aligned Movement could not vaccinate even 50% of their population.
The Indian official stressed the importance of ensuring peace and peaceful co-existence.
India is ready to cooperate with all NAM states for the sake of a better future, he said.
