Ilham Aliyev: EU accepts realities of post-conflict period

"After the war, our contacts with the European Union have intensified. The European Union has accepted the realities of the post-conflict period," Report informs that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told the April 12 meeting on the results of the first quarter of 2022.

"At the initiative of European Council President Charles Michel, tripartite meetings were held in December and April. Both experts and the Azerbaijani public saw that the final communiqué did not contain the word `Nagorno-Karabakh’ and this is natural. Because Azerbaijan protested against it, and there is no word `conflict’ because there is no conflict anymore. The conflict has been resolved," the president said.
