An international scientific conference entitled "Imperial Structure: Ideologies and Realities of Colonialism" was held in Baku, with a panel discussion themed "Ideologies of Colonialism."

According to Report, Chakib Benhafri, head of scientific research at the University of Algiers 2, stressed the importance for France to withdraw from the territories it once covered in blood and colonized: "France has historically made good promises to Algeria, but made the country and people suffer a lot."

Milli Majlis deupty Nigar Mammadova said that Azerbaijan plays an important role in the fight against colonialism: "As an Azerbaijani, I want to emphasize that Azerbaijan's role in this fight is also very important. More than 10 international conferences have been held on this topic."

ADA University Associate Professor Murat Ozkaleli, in turn, noted that colonialism and ways to fight it should also be added to the curriculum and should be taught, especially at the university level: "In this way, the awareness of young people increases and the ways of struggle expand.

June Christine Marie Soomer, representative of the UN Permanent Forum on People of African Descent, believes that it is impossible to erase history, even if it is erased from paper, it lives in people's memories: "They cannot destroy our history, it is true, today that history is not written in books, but remains in our minds."
